St. Albans, Vt.--University of Vermont (UVM) Extension 4-H is hosting a three-part workshop series for students in Grades 5 to 12 who want to learn how to embroider using hoop and thread.
The workshops are free and will be held on three consecutive Tuesdays in December in the Youth Room at the St. Albans Library (11 Maiden Ln.). The dates are December 3, 10 and 17 with each workshop running from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
Registration is required at https://go.uvm.edu/thread. Space is limited so early registration is encouraged.
Ellen Brennan, administrator for the UVM Space Grant Consortium and a hobby crafter, will provide the instruction. All materials will be provided. Participants can create their own design or choose from existing patterns for their project. Perfect for holiday gifts!
