Summer Job Opportunity: Camp Health Officer
Paid summer position available as health officer at Camp Hochelaga. The role is a great way to gain experience for a career nursing or medicine. The camp will fund required certifications in first aid and medication administration. The position operates under the supervision and treatment protocols established by Community Health Centers of Burlington, and is connected daily with a local RN for support. The health officer can live on-site or commute daily Monday to Friday. Documented hours demonstrate field experience to graduate school admissions professionals and future employers, and provide opportunities to build rapport, work with youth and families, work in diverse settings, and manage a fast-paced environment with sound decision making.
