Dean's welcome | College of Nursing and Health Sciences | The University of Vermont(title)

Welcome to the College of Nursing and Health Sciences – where collaboration, compassion, and innovation drive our mission to prepare skilled health professionals.

Humans for humankind.

Here, education goes far beyond the classroom walls. Our responsibility to prepare future health professionals makes student satisfaction and success a focus and strength in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. We provide hands-on learning experiences that challenge students to think critically and adapt to the ever-evolving health professions.

With access to state-of-the-art facilities, cutting-edge technology, and expert faculty mentors guiding the way, our students are equipped with the tools they need to succeed whether they are in the clinical simulation lab or in real-world clinical or community settings. We teach culturally inclusive health perspectives and practices, compassionate care, and advocacy, and strive for a future where everyone has fair and just access to optimal health.
