Scott Soltis is Assistant Professor of Management at the Grossman School of Business. Prior to joining GSB, he served as Assistant Professor of Management at the University of Kentucky's Gatton College of Business and Economics and the University of Missouri- St. Louis' College of Business Administration. He is a leading scholar at the intersection of human resources and social networks and studies phenomena such as employee turnover, performance, and person-organization fit. His award-winning work has been published in outlets such as The Academy of Management Annals, Journal of Applied Psychology, Human Resource Management, Accounting, Organizations and Society and the Journal of Organizational Behavior.
Dr. Soltis obtained his PhD from the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky and holds an MBA from the Black School of Business at Penn State Erie, the Behrend College. He has taught human resource management and social network analysis at the undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and executive levels for over fifteen years. His leadership in the area of social networks and human resource management led to recognition as one of the inaugural Dan Brass Fellows by the Social Network Society of the Academy of Management.
