Kiersten Tavares serves as the Administrative Coordinator in the Dean's Office at the Grossman School of Business. Bringing over a decade of dedicated administrative operations and student services experience from across the University of Vermont, Kiersten offers a wealth of institutional knowledge and a strong commitment to academic and administrative support. Known for her organizational precision and collaborative approach, she plays a key role in facilitating day-to-day operations, coordinating leadership workflows, and fostering a welcoming environment for faculty, students, and staff.
Born and raised in Vermont, Kiersten lives in Burlington’s New North End with her husband, Mike, and toddler, Jameson (“Jmo”).Deeply rooted in the local community, she enjoys an active lifestyle that embraces all four seasons in New England. She enjoys fair-weather bike commuting, exploring hiking trails in the area, boating and paddleboarding, snowboarding, and sampling local culinary favorites with family and friends.
As a long-time Burlington resident, Kiersten is deeply invested in the UVM community and is thrilled to support the Grossman School’s mission of shaping the next generation of business leaders.
