As the US CEO and Managing Partner and Americas Managing Partner at EY, Julie’s leadership expands to more than 95,000 professionals across 33 countries.
In this role, Julie leads both the US Management Committee and Americas Operating Executive while also serving as the EY organization’s representative in key regulatory relationships. As a member of the EY organization’s US Governing Board, Global Executive and Global Practice Group, she collaborates with leadership to drive the organization’s strategic vision for the future. Julie also co-chairs the EY Inclusiveness Advisory Council.
Previously, she served as Vice Chair of the US-Central Region and as a Senior Advisory Partner for several of the Region’s largest accounts.
A CPA with more than 30 years of experience, Julie began her career in audit with another Big Four firm before working at two global investment banks and then serving as CFO for both publicly and privately held companies.
Outside of work, Julie is deeply committed to giving back. She serves on the boards of Catalyst, the Peterson Institute for International Economics, the Center for Audit Quality, and the Partnership for New York City. She is also a member of the World 50, Fortune’s Most Powerful Women community and the Committee of 200.
Julie’s leadership has earned her recognition as one of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women in Business globally, one of Accounting Today’s Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting, and one of the AICPA and CPA Practice Advisor’s Most Powerful Women in Accounting.
She holds an MBA in Finance and Statistics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and a BS in Business and Accounting from the University of Vermont.
Throughout her career, Julie has lived and worked in New York, Chicago, London and Cleveland, where she currently resides with her husband and four children.
