Jon King is a lecturer at the Grossman School of Business and a certified public accountant (CPA). He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting in 2008 and his Master of Accountancy in 2009, both from the University of Vermont.

Jonathan brings nearly 20 years of professional industry experience to the classroom. His career spans diverse sectors including financial services, consumer goods, energy, and manufacturing, with past roles at National Life Group, Keurig Dr Pepper, Vermont Gas, OnLogic, and Butternut Mountain Farms. This extensive background allows him to bridge academic theory with practical, real-world application in the fields of accounting and business operations.

Beyond his work in the classroom, Jonathan is active in the Vermont community. He currently serves on the Board of Directors and as the Treasurer for the Champlain Valley Exposition, where he provides financial leadership and oversight for one of the region’s most prominent non-profit organizations.
