A successful entrepreneur, CEO, and multi-board member, William (Bill) Davis has held CEO leadership positions in six companies in over 30 years and has served on over 20 for-profit and non-profit boards. He is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in turnarounds, growth strategy, and product/brand development. His career reflects a blend of strategic leadership and governance across various industries.
Bill is currently Chairman and CEO of Bill Davis & Associates, LLC, an investment holding company with investments in telecommunications, security systems, restaurants and breweries, Skin Care, AI, and numerous real estate properties.
As CEO of Learning Care Group (Nasdaq: LCGI) from 2002 – 2010, Bill led the second largest child education and care company in the U.S. with over 20,000 employees, servicing 160,000 children in 39 states.
In addition to his executive leadership roles, Davis was a long-standing member of the Board of Directors at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (Nasdaq: GMCR), serving from 1993 - 2012. During his tenure, he held the position of Lead Independent Director and chaired the Audit, Governance, Nominating, and Compensation Committees. As President and CEO of Cabot Creamery, Bill was instrumental in creating the Cabot brand and the nationally recognized product category of “Vermont Cheddar”. Bill was also a member of the Boston chapter of YPO and a Major in the U.S. Army Reserves.
A 1971 graduate of the University of Vermont, Bill was a varsity soccer and golf athlete and continues to support UVM athletics. Bill and his wife Charla reside in Jupiter Florida and Stowe Vermont, allowing him to continue to be an avid golfer and skier.
