The School of Business Administration Dean’s Leadership Speaker Series is proud to welcome Charlene Begley ’88, president and CEO of GE Home & Business Solutions and senior vice president and CIO for GE, on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at 11:45 a.m. in the Grand Maple Ballroom of the Davis Center.
Begley, who received her bachelor of science in business administration from the University of Vermont’s School of Business Administration, joined GE in 1988 and has progressed through several leadership roles including vice president, GE Corporate Audit Staff, and President and CEO for several GE businesses including GE FANUC Automation, Transportation, Plastics, and Enterprise Solutions. She has been listed one of the “50 Women to Watch” by the Wall Street Journal, Forbes "Top 100 Most Powerful Women" and one of the “50 Most Powerful Women in Business” by Fortune Magazine.

Begley is also a member of GE’s Corporate Executive Council, Oracle's President Council and the boards of Morpho Detection, Inc. and the National Association of Manufacturers.
