UVM Business School Team Takes Top Prize
- By John M Turner
Building on recent case competition successes, a team from UVM's School of Business Administration again took top honors at a case competition last Friday evening.
The UVM team of four students secured the 1st place $2,000 cash prize in the 2014 Business & Public Policy Student Video Competition, held at Saint Michaels College in Burlington. Along with UVM, four other regional schools took part in this competition: New England College, Saint Michaels College, State University of New York – Plattsburg and Champlain College.
For this two part competition, the students first developed a screencast and presented arguments related to the unintended consequences of the Affordable Care Act for Small Businesses. This was followed up with a detailed Q&A session with judges.
The UVM team members were: James Holtman, Amelia Traynor, Will Nedds and Corey Bois (Economics Major).
Congratulations to all the team members and faculty for another success!
