Creating a new generation of business leaders through a demanding curriculum and challenging experiences

Sanjay Sharma was appointed dean of the Grossman School of Business on July 1, 2011.  Under his leadership, the School has recently completed a comprehensive revision of the undergraduate curriculum and is in the process of updating its graduate program and developing a fresh format that will appeal to a wide range of working professionals and international students.  Learn More about Dean Sharma

The new undergraduate curriculum focuses on three interdisciplinary themes: Sustainable Business, Global Business and Entrepreneurship. In addition, students can choose one of four concentrations: Accounting, Finance, Marketing, and Business Analytics.

Increased Emphasis on Experiential Learning

Experiential learning has become a crucial component of student success. Internship and study abroad opportunities, case and business pitch competitions, networking events with prominent alumni and local and regional business leaders, and our business speaker series have become an important part of the curriculum at the Grossman School of Business.

State of the art technology and business resources

The School has recently opened a state-of-the-art Bloomberg Lab where students can access, monitor, and analyze real-time financial data.  The dozen Bloomberg terminals give our students access to the same resources as top financial professionals.

Study Business Abroad

The Grossman School of Business encourages all business students to study abroad as part of their awareness of the changing global economy.  It is possible to study abroad, complete business requirements and still graduate in four years.  Learn about some of our business specific programs.

A unique and personalized academic advising system

All first year students are professionally advised through the Grossman School of Business Student Services team.  Students have required meetings with advisors during their first two semesters and assist students at all stages, from planning their schedules to declaring a concentration.  Contact Student Services.
