Transportation and Parking Services
As we prepare for the return of our students, faculty, and staff, we have some updates that will impact the UVM community.

Summer Parking

Move-In Shuttle Detour

Move-In Shuttle Detour Diagram

The CATSBus On-Campus Route will operate a detoured route Wednesday and Thursday August 26 & 27, 2026, 7:00AM - 3:00PM due to student move-in. Because traffic congestion will make it challenging to predict route timing, please use our CATS Bus app to track the shuttle in real-time.

Thank you for your understanding as we welcome students and get them settled in.

CATSRide Shuttle

The CATSRide shuttle is available to transport UVM employees within a ten-mile radius of campus from university owned locations that our CATSBus shuttle service does not cover, including Bio Research and Colchester Research facility. It operates Monday-Friday 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Employees can schedule a single trip or regularly recurring ride by contacting CATSRide via email: catsride@uvm.edu or phone: (802) 233-2594 at least 24 business hours before your trip. This service may be useful to employees who take advantage of UVM’s free bus fares benefit and commute via GMT bus.

Please contact Transportation and Parking Services with any questions regarding these updates via email: parking@uvm.edu or phone: (802)656-8686.
