Safety training is an essential factor in continuing a culture of workplace safety. All personnel are required to take safety trainings as per UVM policies, state and federal regulations. The employee's supervisor must help them determine what training is required.

The UVM Occupational Health and Safety Office is glad to announce the course offering for OSHA 10 Hour Outreach Training. Its purpose is to promote workplace safety &health and to inform workers more about workplace hazards and their rights.

OSHA Guide to Industrial Hygiene (July Session)

This course addresses industrial hygiene practices and related OSHA regulations and procedures. Topics include: permissible exposure limits, OSHA health standards, respiratory protection, engineering controls, hazard communication, OSHA sampling procedures and strategy, workplace health program.
