Prior to the commencement of any environmental remediation activity on campus such as asbestos abatement or lead paint removal. The Environmental Health and Safety office will notify occupants of the areas which may be impacted or disrupted by the project activities.

WHAT IS HAPPENING?
As part of renovations, Environmental Hazards Management, Inc. will remove 2.5 linear feet of Thermal Systems Insulation.

Completion Date: Thursday, February 26, 2026
Hours: 6-4:30
 

WHAT TO EXPECT:
A work area will be established in room 429C with a mini enclosure and local negative pressure. During abatement, workers will wear personal and respiratory protection. Areas will be clearly marked and should not be entered unless a situation posing an Immediate Danger to Life and Health (IDLH) occurs, and if possible, this entry should be made with personal and respiratory protection.
