Talent Development builds upon Professional Development and Training's offerings by providing UVM employees and leaders with resources on how to grow and develop their skills, competencies, and careers.
UVM's Talent Development Center for Excellence will continue to be the university's hub for professional development and training opportunities. Accessing, registering, and tracking your classes is easier than ever with a new process.
All UVM employees with active UVM NetIDs can register for Professional Development & Training classes. This includes temporary employees who have a NetID.
Supervisors may register new employees with their PeopleSoft ID Number (EmplID) via Manager Self Service.
A certain number of particpants are established for each class based on the resources available.
If someone drops out of the session and you are next on the waitlist, you will automatically be enrolled and notified via email. The email will include a confirmation of your enrollment and a link to the course.
Unless you are enrolled in a class, you cannot attend the session. You may enroll in another section of the class if you are on a waitlist. Please be mindful of canceling any additional enrollments if you do come off the waitlist so that your spot can be opened up for someone else.
Teams Webinar comes with Real Time Caption and Transcription as well and can also be made available for CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) Services.
