BIO

Matt is a postdoctoral researcher in the Rubenstein Ecosystem Science Laboratory where he primarily works with Dr. Ellen Marsden. Matt's research focuses on fish movement and trophic interactions in Lake Champlain and the Great Lakes to help understand how fish are distributed in lakes and interact with each other. While all of his research has focused on lakes in the northeast, Matt moved to Colorado after defending his PhD during the summer of 2024 and is currently working remotely.
