BIO

Izzy is a master’s student in the Rubenstein School of Environment and Natural Resources, a graduate research fellow at the Gund Institute for Environment, and a member of the NSF/UVM Cosmogenic Community Facility. Her project focuses on using cosmogenic nuclide dating methods to study the efficacy with which the Laurentide Ice Sheet eroded rock and sediment exposed during interglacial periods along with the degree to which the material was transferred. This work is important to better understand glacial erosion and its impact on landscapes. When not in the field or the lab, Izzy works on a goat farm and enjoys hiking and painting.
