BIO
E. Claire is a native Vermonter with a deep affinity for Latin America. She has been part of the UVM community since 2007, first as an undergraduate student, then rejoining as a staff member in 2015. Over the years, she has held a variety of overlapping roles spanning international, on-campus, and online work. These include serving as Program Coordinator for UVM's Oaxaca Semester Abroad Program in Mexico while simultaneously working as a Program Coordinator and Market Researcher for UVM's Professional and Continuing Education (PACE) programs, then transitioning to Student and Administrative Support Specialist for RSENR's Costa Rica Semester Abroad/Field Studies Program in 2018. In 2020, she became a Production Specialist and Project Manager for PACE's online credit and non-credit offerings. She is currently the In-Country Travel Support Specialist for the Costa Rica Field Studies Program across both the Spring and Fall semesters, where she supports UVM students, faculty, staff, and on-the-ground community members on all administrative, logistical, and intercultural aspects of the program.
In her free time, E. Claire enjoys playing music and singing, hiking and backpacking, reading, gifting paintings to loved ones, volunteering, spending time in nature, learning new Spanish phrases, and continuously expanding her worldview through travel and cross-cultural connection.
