Several new faculty and staff join the Rubenstein School this year. In addition, some familiar faces in the School have changed or added positions. We're excited to welcome and congratulate the following RSENR community members. 

 

 

Faculty

Carol Adair has been promoted to Associate Professor. 

Brendan Fisher takes on the role of Director of the Environmental Program. 

Gillian Galford has been promoted to Research Associate Professor. 

Zac Ispa-Landa has been promoted to Senior Lecturer. 

Brittany Mosher joins the faculty as a new Assistant Professor in the Wildlife and Fisheries Biology Program starting in October 2019. 

Nate Sanders is the new Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Faculty Development. 

Patricia Stokowski assumes the role of Director of the Sustainable Parks, Recreation and Tourism Program.

Allan Strong steps down after eight years as Associate Dean and re-joins the faculty as Professor. 

 

Staff

Caroline Blake is a new Watershed and Lake Education Program Assistant with Lake Champlain Sea Grant, replacing Amelia Tarrant

Matthew Burke is a new Postdoctoral Associate with Jon Erickson. 

Ursula Georgeoglou is starting this fall as a new Project Coordinator for the Leadership for the Ecozoic PhD Program.

Hallie Companion is a new Financial Assistant in the Business Service Center. 

Luz De Witt is a new Postdoctoral Associate with Taylor Ricketts. 

Quinn Karley is a new Program Coordinator for the M.P.S. in Leadership for Sustainability, replacing Emil Tsao who is a full-time Ph.D. student in the School. 

Alexander Medvedeff is a new Laboratory Research Technician at the Rubenstein Ecosystem Science Lab replacing Frances Iannucci who will leave this fall. 

Assistant to the Associate Dean Sarah O’Sullivan has taken a position with the Grossman School of Business as Assistant to the Dean. 

Cameron Russell is the new Executive Assistant to the Dean, replacing Monika Donlevy who took a position in the College of Medicine. 

John Truong is a new Research Specialist with the Forest Ecosystem Monitoring Cooperative. 

Julianna White is the new Research Program Coordinator for Lake Champlain Sea Grant, replacing Elissa Schuett who took a communications position with a local watershed consulting firm. 

Longtime Student Advisor Elizabeth “Ibit” Wright has left her position in the Environmental Program.
