A note about the former Domestic Abuse and Violence Prevention and Response policy: It is an essential goal of the University to provide and maintain a safe campus for all members of its community, free from violence and threats of violence. The University's commitment to the prevention of, and response to, relationship violence, which includes both domestic and dating violence, is now addressed by the University's Sexual Misconduct Policy pursuant to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013.
