Dear Students,

Congratulations on completing your first week of class!

Whether you’re taking classes online or in-person, we’re here to help. Check out our new student success resources directory for an overview: View Resources Directory

We also received some common questions this week - please see below for an update from services around campus.

Final thing - it's a three-day weekend. Check out UVM Bored for fun events and activities (in Vermont), remember your Green and Gold Promise, and be well.

Campus Service Updates and Changes

Dining Services

As of Tuesday, September 2, Bite Universities launched across campus, allowing students to order a to-go meal from the dining halls and retail locations. These meals will be served in reusable EcoWare containers and can be enjoyed in additional outdoor tent seating after Labor Day. Watch for more information about Dining Services coming out soon.

Please know that when you select the iPhone/Apple watch option, it replaces your plastic CATcard on-campus.  DO NOT throw away your plastic CATcard, you will need it for purchases off-campus.

If you are experiencing issues entering your Residence Hall or purchasing meals, please reach out to Residential Life or Dining Services for assistance.

Campus Shuttle Services

Due to an unforeseen lack of staffing, the Late-Night Off-Campus Shuttle Service (10pm-2:30am) is not currently operating. For this upcoming holiday weekend (Saturday, Sunday and Monday), an off-campus shuttle will operate from 4:30pm-8:30pm. We will continue to evaluate the ability to operate a Late-Night Shuttle on future weekends. View bus services.

Residence Halls

Food Deliveries

Food from off-campus vendors may be delivered to the residence halls, but the student and the vendor must meet outside of the residence halls and both should wear masks.

Package Deliveries

Please note that packages may arrive at the residence hall front desk later than what the vendor notices to you since packages arrive centrally on campus and then are distributed to the residence halls.

Cleaning in Common Bathrooms

Two additional restroom disinfecting services will be implemented immediately. Custodial Services will create an extended shift to end at 5:30PM each weekday. Additional services will be added on the weekends between 9AM until 5PM.
