Dear University of Vermont Undergraduate, Graduate, Medical, and Non-Degree Students: I am writing to provide further clarification to the COVID-19 Testing Update that Senior Vice President and Provost Patricia Prelock provided on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. The following are additional updates as noted in italics:

  • All students who have not elected at home (ATHM) status or received an approved testing exemption must continue to receive PCR testing every seven days on campus.
  • First and second year (foundations level) medical students are required to continue to test every seven days until December 18, 2020 and resume testing every seven days beginning January 19, 2021.
  • Third year (clerkship level) medical students are required to continue to test every seven days until December 18, 2020, and resume testing every seven days beginning January 4, 2021.
  • Fourth year (advanced integration level) medical students are required to continue to test every seven days until December 25, 2020 and resume testing every seven days beginning January 4, 2021.
  • All non-degree students who are attending in-person classes are required to test every seven days through November 24 for students enrolled in undergraduate level courses and through December 11 for graduate level courses.
