Bruce Rockowitz, a global businessman and successful entrepreneur, visited the Grossman School of Business on May 2. He met with students at a round-table discussion on the topic of entrepreneurship.
Founder of The Pure Group, Bruce holds the positions of non-executive chairman of The Pure Group; chairman of Legend Publishing Ltd., Dough Bros Holdings Ltd., and Rock Media Ltd.; and president of Li & Fung (Trading) Ltd.
“Meeting with Bruce in a round table setting afforded our students a one-on-one engagement opportunity with a global businesses leader who provided some valuable insights and perspectives to complement their business education,” said Barbara Arel, acting dean, Grossman School of Business.
Bruce noted that he was impressed with how engaged and prepared GSB students were. “Students from Grossman School of Business came well prepared for the discussion. Grossman Students are serious about success, are caring and intelligent, and have very successful futures.”
One of Bruce’s key takeaways for the students: “Care about people. Treat people well. Be aspirational.”
Thank you, Bruce, for your time and insights!
