The School of Business Administration Dean’s Leadership Speaker Series is proud to welcome UVM Alumna and President of Nickelodeon Cyma Zarghami on Friday, November 4 at 11:45 am in the Grand Maple Ballroom of the Davis Center.

Ms. Zarghami, who received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont’s College of Arts and Science, has worked for Nickelodeon for the last 26 years.  She was named president in 2006 and currently oversees all creative and business operations for the company.  Under her leadership, Nickelodeon continues to be the number-one rated U.S. cable network. 

“We are thrilled to have Cyma Zarghami be the first invited guest of our Dean’s Leadership Speaker Series here at the School of Business Administration,” said Dean Sanjay Sharma.  “We believe Cyma’s background and remarkable career serves as a great example to our students as they begin to develop leadership strategies and practical skills needed for success in today’s complex global economy.”

Along with nurturing continued growth and success, Ms. Zarghami also has expanded Nickelodeon’s pro-social leadership role as a key component of its brand identity.
