Larner College of Medicine

The Health Services Research Center includes an interdisciplinary team of faculty and research staff at The University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine, and The University of Vermont, who study opportunities to improve health care and population health across Vermont and the region. We partner with stakeholders to translate data and research into practical strategies to improve health outcomes, particularly in rural communities.

The Data Science for Policy and Practice program works to inform health policy and clinical practice through rigorous research and advanced data methods.

Rural Health

The Rural Health program area, including the Northeast Rural Health Research Center, examines the factors shaping health care access and outcomes in rural communities across Vermont, the region, and the United States.

Implementation Science

The Implementation Science program area seeks to identify effective strategies for implementing evidence-based practices and interventions in real-world health care and other settings.
