The UVM Larner College of Medicine holds affiliation agreements with a number of sites to offer the best of community and academic medicine and a variety of clinical experiences for our students. Faculty and students engage in cutting edge clinical research to find new treatments and improve human health.

UVM Health is also affiliated with the Hudson Headwaters Health Network, a not-for-profit system of community health centers headquartered in Queensbury, NY and home of the Longitudinal Integrated Clerkship.

UVM Larner College of Medicine medical education affiliate Nuvance Health comprises three Connecticut hospitals: 

  • Danbury Hospital
  • Norwalk Hospital
  • New Milford Hospital. 

The UVM clinical branch campus' main teaching hospitals for Larner College of Medicine students are Norwalk and Danbury

Nuvance Health has nearly 800 beds and over 1,000 physicians serving a population of 600,000 in western Connecticut in an area spanning from the coast to Danbury along the New York border.
