The University has recently expanded its laptop loaner pool to encompass Windows-based laptops for traveling internationally. These computers are for faculty and staff of the University who are travelling on university business. We have a limited supply, and they are for basic computer use only, providing solely web-based access to services such as email, OneDrive and MS Teams locations. UVM's VPN service is pre-installed but there is no ability to install other applications. They may only be used for web-based services or virtual desktop connections. 

Contact our Information Security Office at iso@uvm.edu if interested in using a loaner. They can answer questions about the loaners and advise on any specifics that might apply to the country of destination.
