In July 2005, the United States Congress passed the Energy Policy
Act of 2005 (PDF), which changes the start and end dates of
Daylight Saving Time (DST). Beginning in 2007, DST will start three
weeks earlier on March 11, and will end one week later, on November
4.
As a result, both Macintosh and Windows computer operating systems and applications, as well as handheld and smartphone devices, may be affected.
No major problems are anticipated, but please be certain to address the Daylight Saving Time issue on systems that serve critical functions.
Please note that you may need to verify Oracle Calendar meeting start times on computers and Palm devices.
To see if your computer, device, or application is affected by the 2007 Daylight Saving Time changes and if you need to take any action please visit the 2007 DST changes page.
