Humanities Center Writing Groups The Center currently hosts two primary writing groups, based on interest. All writing group participants receive $400 in PDF as an acknowledgement of the labor entailed in meeting every 2-3 weeks, reading and commenting on drafts-in-process, and presenting new work. Currently the Center hosts a writing group dedicated to Recent Hires, with the express goal of building a cohort of humanities researchers in their early years at UVM, as well as a writing group for Established Faculty. 

Each Fall semester, the Center will provide an opportunity for all humanities, arts, and humanistic social science faculty on campus to join an extant writing group (with the possibility of creating new, themed, or smaller groups).
