Coor Project Award

The Coor Project Award supports large humanities and interdisciplinary projects that build relationships across the UVM community: symposia, conferences, workshops, year- or semester-long lecture series, etc. The Humanities Center considers applications from UVM faculty members with projects whose budgets range from $3,000 up to $25,000.

The Center will work with Project Awardees on translating their project into scholarly products (publications, exhibitions, external grant applications, etc.). Awardees will have one (1) academic year to spend their award with no possibility of extension. The Center expects to be the sole or primary sponsor of winning projects; as such, priority will be given to projects that reflect or engage with the current Humanities Center theme year.

Eligible applicants include faculty at all ranks of all UVM departments conducting research with a significant humanities component. Priority will be given to faculty in the humanities and arts.
