Clare Nelson (she/her) graduated with an MS in Civil and Environmental Engineering from UVM in 2024. Her MS thesis research with Dr. Greg Rowangould focused on public support and the equity of mileage-based user fees. She also developed an interactive data dashboard to track sustainable transportation performance metrics in Chittenden County, VT. Clare is now working as a Research Analyst at the TRC, where she is working on a team to forecast how electric vehicle adoption will impact rural energy grids, travel behavior, and land use interactions and continues research on developing innovative data dashboards to support public policy evaluation.
