Spring 2026
In-Person Help Sessions
MATH Help Sessions are where students can get their math questions answered one-on-one. These are staffed by math graduate students.
Help Sessions will run from 4:30 PM until 6:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, beginning on Tuesday, January 20th in Perkins 203A and run through the last week of classes, (except during UVM holidays and recesses). Help will be available during all Help Sessions in these courses: MATH 1012, MATH 1034, MATH 1077, MATH 1212, MATH 1224, MATH 1234, MATH 1242, & MATH 1248.
BOOST Sessions are recitations where an experienced undergraduate BOOST leader solves math problems for a group of students (not one-on-one). These are problem-solving lectures. Students benefit by watching how practice problems are solved. Students then have the opportunity to practice similar problems. Students also can ask questions during these sessions.
