BIO

Dr. Doran is an environmental engineer and scientist whose research is directed toward understanding and enabling adaptation and resilience to climatic and hydrologic system dynamics and change. Her work at UVM directing the Sustainable Futures Lab examines underlying physical and social processes in environmental systems; human behavioral and physiologic response to climate risks; and she builds tools to support environmental decision-making and policy across scales. Dr. Doran employs interdisciplinary and multi method approaches combining in-situ and remotely sensed observations with advanced numerical modeling techniques.
