What is a CATcard?
What is a CATcard?
- CATcard is the name of the identification card at UVM.
- It is a digital photo ID which serves as a library card, meal card and CAT$cratch card.
- The digital CATcard also can be programmed for building access.
Please note that University ID is not official and should not be used in lieu of government issued identification.
What it does:
Door Access
Body
- Departments may arrange access through the CATcard office for their own personnel and graduate students.
- Vendor badges may be activated for limited access at contracting department request.
- Undergraduates may hold temporary accesses assigned through CATcard, including residence hall access and specially defined accesses determined by course enrollment or other institutional privilege.
CAT$cratch
Body
- This is an optional plan that allows the user to deposit funds into a debit account on their CATcard.
- All classifications are allowed this option, but vendor and Sodexo cards must be specifically requested to have this feature.
- Also, deposits to these two card classes must be made in the CATcard office.
Dining Plan
Body
- A UVM Dining plan is required for all on-campus students. For students living off campus, staff, or faculty, they can choose to have a voluntary plan for added flexibility and savings. Learn more about dining plan options at go.uvm.edu/diningplans. For more information, contact the Meal Plan Office at MPO@uvm.edu or call (802) 656-2945.
Computer Labs
Body
