Some professors will "go to great lengths" to promote their courses. A placard-waving assistant professor Scott Costa and his caterpillar were captured, at least on camera. Costa, the eight-legged creature and several students were last seen parading through Davis Center Nov. 1 at lunchtime.
Costa's Wednesday evening course "A Bug's Life" (which is PSS 028) is one of the most popular spring courses.
"The advertising is paying off," Costa reported Nov. 14. "I already have 75 students."
