Once again our annual Wall St. program organized by alumni proved to be a big hit with students. Five successful alumni from the world of finance and investment returned to the UVM campus and participated in a career panel for students at the Davis Center. The panel was followed by one hour of speed networking, with every student having the opportunity to talk and ask questions with each panelist in a more personal table setting.
To be successful their career advice centered around several themes; being a good team player, working hard, developing and maintaining relationships, find your passion and follow it, be enthusiastic, have energy and persistance, internships are important, your path likely won't be a straight line and your reputation and integrity are key.
From all of us at the School of Business Administration, we'd like to thank all the panelists James Flicker from Greenhill & Co, Adam Ansaldi, RBS Americas, David Strine, Impala Asset Management, Giacomo Landi, DNB Americas and Chris Calger, JP Morgan, for taking the time out of their busy schedules to share their expertise and experiences with our student body.
