FY 2026 Permit Renewal

Full year permits are now available for renewal, including UVM affiliates, carpools, employees, fleet vehicles, and vendors. All current year permits expire on June 30, 2026.

Affiliated Organization Employees

If you pay for your own permit, renew your permit online via the TPS Portal or in person at our Marsh Hall office.

Chart string payments may be made online as “Journal Voucher” payments or you may email Parking@uvm.edu with the chart string and department approval to charge the chart string.

Sodexo employees approved for payroll deduction will need to renew in person and must provide a current payroll deduction form that has been signed by their Sodexo supervisor.

Carpools

Current carpool participants must submit a new carpool application online via the TPS Portal for approval. Once approved, the new carpool permit will be valid from 07/01/2026 - 06/30/2027. The approval process can take a few days, so please plan accordingly to ensure permit coverage and avoid citations/fines. Full program details are posted on the Employee Carpool Permit Program page.

Employee Permits (Payroll-Deductible)

Full-time payroll deductible permits will be automatically renewed. You can visit your account online to review the active vehicles associated with your permit. Payroll deductible permits may only be cancelled by notifying Transportation and Parking in writing with the requested end date.

Fleet Permits for UVM-Owned Vehicles

A current list of your department’s fleet permits may be requested via email to Parking@uvm.edu. Permit renewals must be processed by our Customer Service team; please note that only one chartstring per department will be accepted for fleet permits. Additionally, all department vehicle citation fines must be paid in full prior to renewal. Please renew early to avoid a lapse in permit coverage, citations, and fines.  Tickets due to last-minute requests will not be excused. More details about Fleet Permits can be found on the UVM Vehicles page.

Vendor Permits (excluding Contractors)

Vendors seeking permits must have current approval through a University Department Representative to qualify for a vendor parking permit; this includes delivering products, servicing equipment and conducting business on campus.  Authorization must be completed through the Vendor Parking Permit Application process.  Renewals may be processed via the TPS Portal with a credit card or in person at our Marsh Hall office. Permits paid for by UVM chartstring must be authorized by the vendor’s contact department.

Contractors performing construction and/or maintenance projects should review the process for their permits on the Contractor Parking page.

As always, please reach out with any questions!
