2026 Summer Parking Notices

Effective Dates: Monday, May 18 – Friday, August 13

Employees

As always, permits are required and parking regulations remain in effect throughout the summer break. Modifications in effect for summer 2026 include: 

  • Zone Red and Purple Lots will be available to all permit holders. 

  • The Fleming Museum Lot will be designated as a Zone Green Lot during summer break only. 

  • All designated Park Mobile pay-by-app spaces will be available for paid parking sessions regardless of affiliation. Posted time restrictions remain in effect. 

Watch for signs throughout campus this summer indicating temporary lot closures due to maintenance & construction or for campus events. Keep in mind that the Converse Lot will remain a restricted lot, available to Summer Resident permit holders with a Zone Black permit only. In many circumstances, parking a motor vehicle on campus may not be necessary. Look at our  Commuter Choices  page to check out available resources, and the  CATS Bus Shuttle  page for our summer hours. 

 

Students

  • Summer commuter permits will be available to all students regardless of proximate zone status. Summer residents may purchase permits based on their housing location; these should be purchased a week or two prior to your stay on campus. 

  • Zone Red and Purple Lots will be available to all permit holders. 

  • All designated Park Mobile pay-by-app spaces will be available for paid parking sessions regardless of affiliation. Posted time restrictions remain in effect.
