BIO
Liz Amler serves as the Education & Engagement Coordinator in the Office of Sustainability, a role she began in Fall 2026. In this position, she leads sustainability programs and initiatives across campus while supporting the Office's outreach and communications efforts.
Prior to joining the Office of Sustainability, Liz served as the Climate Planning Administrator at the Vermont Agency of Natural Resources, where she coordinated the development of the 2025 Vermont Climate Action Plan and managed federal climate funds. A proud UVM alumna, Liz earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont and holds a Master of Arts in Teaching and a Master of Public Administration.
Outside of the office, Liz enjoys spending time on and around the water and can often be found sailing, kayaking, or swimming in Lake Champlain during the summer months.
