Sustainability staff from across campus join together to offer the Campus Sustainability Series each fall. The series is open to all faculty and staff. Those who attend all sessions will receive a certificate of completion. Participants are also welcome to join just the sessions that interest them.

Campus Sustainability Walking Tour 

October 9th, 11 a.m-1 p.m.  Meet in Davis Center Jost Foundation Room. Rain date Oct 23rd Davis Center Spruce Room. See points of interest including transportation options, waste reduction and disposal, food sourcing, green building and energy. 

UVM's Comprehensive Sustainability Plan

October 15th, 2-3 p.m.
This plan will help UVM create a better world through responsible stewardship of all of our resources. Learn about the key goals and the progress that has been made to date.

Intro to Intersectional Environmentalism

November 5th, 2-3 p.m.
Presenters introduce the concept of intersectionality and how it applies to environmentalism. Learn about the root causes that many social and environmental issues share and reflect on your personal environmental privileges.

How to Make that Purchase More Sustainably

November 19th, 2-3 p.m.
Purchasing Services has many policies and resources available to improve the sustainability of University purchases. This session will review these and what attributes to consider when selecting items.

Investing with your Values

December 3rd, 2-3:30 p.m.
Learn about socially and environmentally responsible investing options and how to manage your 403b and other investments in a way that aligns with your values.
