CODIE works with clubs and other groups on campus by advocating for them when necessary and supporting them through promoting events, and collaborating with them. We work to make the campus more inclusive for all people with projects that include but are not limited to designating telehealth spaces for students on campus, planning events for sexual violence awareness month, helping clubs with the DEI fund for events, and making sure that the administration is aware of unavailable resources that need to exist for students. One mission of CODIE is to create a welcoming space for students to share their wants and needs to have a successful UVM experience.
