Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs)

We’re here to help you find a community in one of our 240+ recognized student organizations. SGA works to ensure our RSOs receive support and funding for programming, operations, and leadership development - allowing students to explore their interests while obtaining valuable career skills in the process.

Getting Involved

UVM Clubs

Body

UVM Clubs is your one-stop shop for all things Clubs!

It's a database that features a complete listing of all our SGA-recognized Clubs and Organizations, including information on each specific club, club contacts, forms, and more. All UVM undergraduate students have access to UVM Clubs by signing in with their UVM NetID and password.

Please note: Some organizations on campus may not be in good standing with the University due to safety and misconduct concerns. Other groups may present themselves as university-recognized, but may not have a formal affiliation with UVM. Details of the respective status and conduct history of these groups are found on our Student Organization Misconduct page. Students are encouraged to review the disciplinary history of student organizations they wish to join and make informed decisions. Students are strongly discouraged from joining or participating in unrecognized student groups.

ActivitiesFest

Body

ActivitiesFest is UVM's bi-annual club fair, where SGA recognized student organizations (RSOs) gather to promote their offerings to the student body. This event is a great opportunity to chat with club members to learn more about your opportunities for engagement.

The Club and Organization Interest Survey

Body

Administered by the Department of Student Life, this survey helps new students identify the organizations that pertain to their specific interests. This aids us in connecting clubs with interested students, assisting them with getting involved during their first semester at UVM.

This survey is often completed during orientation - but can be taken anytime online prior to the start of their first semester. Responses are shared with clubs at two points during the year - at the start of the fall and spring semesters.

Take the survey here. (You'll need to login with your Admissions credentials)

How to create a Recognized Student Organization (RSO)
