Realtor Workshop: Shoreland Protection Act

Learn about Vermont’s Shoreland Protection Act guidelines: landowner requirements, implications for real estate development and redevelopment along lakeshores, common sources of confusion, and the “grandfather” clause. Understand how reducing erosion and stormwater runoff improves water quality and protects property values. Learn about local resources for advising clients on potential permit requirements and landscape alterations. This course provides a great opportunity to obtain contacts for permit specialists for answers to site-specific questions.
