Outreach

Lake Champlain Sea Grant serves as a critical source of information for Lake Champlain basin residents, students and teachers, community and business leaders, and agency staff. Through regular interactions with these audiences and coordination of numerous outreach and education programs, we engage these groups in learning about watershed science, water quality, aquatic resources, land use planning, sustainable development, and hazard resiliency.

Because we work closely with national, Great Lakes, and local researchers, Lake Champlain Sea Grant outreach also informs the research community of priority information needs and helps to guide research to solve pressing problems in the basin.
