Vermont has over 1400 miles of lakeshores with some of the greatest residential density and development pressure in the state. This voluntary certification course teaches landscaping techniques that control stormwater runoff and conserve wildlife habitat, which are essential shoreland development practices for protecting Vermont lakes.
