Educator Expedition: Exploring Lake Health Through Science and Research

Please join Lake Champlain Sea Grant for a 1 day workshop for K-12 teachers to learn about water quality and research happening in the Lake Champlain Basin. Through hands on demonstrations in the Rubenstein Ecosystem Sciences Laboratory and aboard the UVM research vessel Marcelle Melosira teachers will work along scientists to learn about the challenges the lake faces and hands on activities they can take back to their classroom.

We will meet at the Rubenstein Ecosystem Science Laboratory, Loading Dock (outback by boat launch) - 3 College Street, Burlington, VT before boarding the Marcelle Melosira.

Registration in advance is required.

Cancellation Policy:

All payments are final. No refunds will be issued. However, if the boat is not able to sail due to weather conditions and the event is canceled, refunds will be issued, less a 3.5% processing fee. The Staff and boat Captain will do their best to make the call within 12 hours of the trip.
