UVMClick Conversion

The transition of our protocols over the weekend went very well.  We have validated the data that was transferred and are scheduled to go live with UVMClick – IRB on Monday.

Clean-Up Modifications Broken Down

• Purpose: enter data that has historically only been on paper and to establish an approved baseline set of protocol materials in UVMClick – IRB
• A clean-up modification only has to be done once for each active protocol
• A clean-up modification is not required until you need to change the protocol (no hurry to get these in) 
• New protocols do not require a clean-up modification
• Closing a protocol does not require a clean-up modification
• All other submission types do require a clean-up modification first
• As part of the clean-up modification submission you will need to:

1. Complete the General Smart form,
2. If you are still consenting subjects, attach the currently approved stamped consent form(s),
3. Attach the last IRB approved protocol document.

• If you determine that your protocol document is outdated and does not include changes from all the IRB approved amendments, this must be rectified in a separate modification submission.  Please do not change the protocol now as part of this clean-up submission.  As part of the submission you can communicate this to your Research Analyst.
