Thomas Hudspeth, Professor Emeritus of Environmental Studies and Natural Resources, recieved the 2016 Walter E. Jeske Award from the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE). The honor recognizes his service to NAAEE and his leadership within the field of environmental education.

The award citation praised Hudspeth's many decades of dedicated scholarship and teaching as, among other things, he "explored citizen participation in urban waterfront revitalization and forest management, living machines, the Burlington Intervale (a start-up enterprise for would-be farmers), ecotourism in Vermont, and the development of a network of bicycle paths in the region."

Congratulations, Tom!
