The Department of Family Medicine at the University of Vermont offers two residency programs: the Family Medicine Residency Program and the Dental Residency Program. We also offer a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship.
Family Medicine Residency Program
The Family Medicine Residency is based in Milton, Vermont and provides a unique rural community experience within a strong academic training environment. Residents are prepared well for the ABFM Boards and graduate prepared to practice expertly and independently.

Dental Residency Program
The UVM Dental Residency is at a state-of-the-art facility, based in South Burlington, VT. Residents receive comprehensive and urgent care training and attend to complex cases preparing them for excellence in practice.

Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship
The University of Vermont Health Network offers a one-year, ACGME-accredited fellowship to train future physician leaders in Hospice and Palliative Care.
