Dr. Kellie Campbell comes to UVM from the Vermont State Colleges System (VSCS), for which she served as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Information Technology. Campbell provided leadership, management, and strategy for the Information Technology (IT) shared services division and helped shepherd the transformation of the VSCS by leading the launch of the system’s first shared services organization and supporting many efforts to successfully consolidate and launch Vermont State University.
As Chief Information Officer for the University of Vermont, Kellie is the lead executive responsible for information technology across the institution. Reporting to the president, Kellie serves on the senior leadership team, contributing to university efforts broadly as a subject matter expert in information technology. Kellie is responsible for the vision and long-term planning for information technology consistent with the mission and goals of the university. Kellie holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in business administration and management and received her Doctor of Education in Higher Education through Northeastern University. She has extensive experience in project and change management, strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management, and is a leader in system and digital transformation.
